E-Safety

Childnet International is a non for profit organisation aiming to help make the internet a safer place for children. This website provides advice to Parents/Carers providing all you need to know to help keep your child safe online. Visit their website at www.childnet.com

For tips on how to set parental controls for your computers at home and further advice about E-Safety you can see more at Virgin Media's Switched on Parents section on their website. 

The mobile phone network EE have also released an information booklet giving advice to Parents/Carers on how to manage multimedia safely, you can download this booklet here.

Safer Internet Day

As part of Safer Internet Day, mentors will be undertaking various activities with their mentor groups from resources on saferinternet.org.uk. Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command

CEOP is a law enforcement agency and is here to keep children and young people safe from sexual exploitation and abuse. Use this link to start your report to one of CEOP’s Child Protection Advisors.

Operation Encompass

Kings Academy Ringmer is part of Operation Encompass. Operation Encompass ensures that schools are informed about incidences of domestic abuse, enabling the school to support young people who are experiencing this.
