I am delighted to inform you that King’s Academy Ringmer has been awarded East Sussex Healthy School Status. This is in recognition of the priority the school places on the health and wellbeing of the whole school community, and a commitment to continuous improvement in:

Huge congratulations to all the staff involved in this, in particular Ms Moorhouse, who was able to evidence the excellent work in these areas in order to achieve the status.
We are very much looking forward to our Summer Showcase next Wednesday 18th, from 6-8pm in the Hall. This will be yet another opportunity to see our talented children perform both dance and music solos. If you have a ticket, we look forward to seeing you there.
I also look forward to attending the opening of Ringmer Swimming Pool. This promises to be a special event celebrating the return of this valued facility to the local community. We have agreed exclusive access for our students during our super curriculum time, and are working with them to incorporate the PE curriculum from September. These are amazing additions to our offer, and something which our students will benefit from in the years to come.

Important Charity Information
A number of our students in the local community have been raising money for Target Ovarian Cancer. They ran a fundraising day in May but have also set up a Justgiving Page.
