As an Eco School for over 20 years, King’s Academy Ringmer is committed to sustainability, our environment and ensuring the students have every opportunity to access activities and events that enable them to work towards this.  We have been awarded our Green Flag Eco-Schools Award for 2023 and received fantastic feedback from Eco-Schools about our work with the students and their engagement.  For more information on Eco-Schools please please click this link.

       

 

Our Eco-Schools Action Plan is created by the students.  The Eco Reps voted for which of the 10 Eco-Schools topics they wanted to focus on and the 3 topics with the most votes were selected. These are currently:

• Biodiversity

• Energy

• Marine

Throughout this academic year, we will be working on these topics and also considering the other Eco-Schools areas below for the future.

 

 

Eco Committee:

Our Eco Committee meets regularly throughout the year to discuss how we are doing with our 3 Eco-Schools topics, to plan in events, review what has happened, what went well and any improvements that could be made.
