ECO News

We would like to thank Staverton Nursery, Halland for their kind donations of compost, seed containers and seeds for our new 'Spade to Spoon' growing club.

The new club is a growing and gardening club primarily focusing on growing edibles but also including tending our outdoor growing areas and spaces. Our main goal is to grow food we can donate to a local food bank or use in school to cook with and promote and care for areas around the school where plants are growing. We look forward to sharing any news of our success with you.

Thank you
Mrs Simon-House, ECO Co-ordinator

PROM Dresses

Age concern in Lewes has recently started acquiring Prom Dresses.  They have asked us to share this with our Year 11 students who are after an affordable dress.  The Battle shop also has PROM dresses available.

If you would like to donate your dress after this year’s PROM for future Year 11s, they will be happy to accept donations.

Ringmer Rovers U13 Juniors

Over the Easter break some of our year 8 boys who play for Ringmer Rovers U13 Juniors did really well by playing superbly protecting their position of 4th place on the Rother league table. Ringmer beat Bexhill United U13s Black 5-3 (Arthur, Kalani and Charlie scoring) and then on to beat Rye Bay 5 - 3 in an exciting match which saw Lani and Charlie scoring 2 goals each.

All the players deserve a mention for their fantastic efforts: Wilbur, BraxtonJoe, Arthur, James, Edward, Henry, Ollie, Jacob, Beau and Freddie.

Over these past months they have formed a strong, cohesive team, training hard on Wednesday evenings to make their way to the top of the recent form table. Go Ringmer Rovers! (Up the RR !)
